First and foremost, our members get the benefit of being a part of an organization that supports and promotes the interests of women in our profession. They also get the benefit of networking with other members and friends of the organization.

One of the most tangible member benefits is the Membership and Resource Directory, which is published on an annual basis. This directory contains a list of all of our members and includes a breakdown of the practice areas for each of our members. The membership directory is useful as a resource to contact other members for advice in a particular practice area, as well as finding attorneys to refer cases to that are outside of one's area of practice.

The NHWBA publishes a periodic newsletter which provides helpful information about the practice of law, items of interest to women attorneys, and information about our members and upcoming events.

We also sponsor CLEs focused on areas of interest to women attorneys. In the past, we have sponsored CLEs on topics such as public speaking, "rain making," and alternative careers for lawyers. We are currently in the midst of hosting a number of authors who have written books on women attorneys. The NHWBA also holds an annual reception, and several other networking events each year.
